Students of the Logistics and In-House Transport and Warehousing Technology specialisation develop their knowledge in the field of: transport technology, technology of freight operations, freight flow in logistic systems, transport law, industrial plants, pathways in in-house transport, means of in-house transport, technology of in-house transport, warehousing technology, control in in-house transport, telecommunications in in-house transport, technology of freight rail transport, technology of road transport – in the first-cycle degree programmes, and modelling of transport processes, technology and design of freight processes, creation of logistic systems, methods of evaluation of design solutions, organisation and management of the forwarding process, IT systems in transport, maintenance of means of in-house transport, measuring logistic systems, technology of in-house transport and warehousing – in the second-cycle degree programmes.

Graduates of the specialisation have the skills to take decisions in the area of organisation and design of logistic systems, systems of in-house transport and warehousing, technology of transport and warehousing, optimisation and rationalisation of processes and systems of warehousing.

Graduates of second-cycle study additionally have the skills to solve and verify solutions to problems in the area of organisation and design of logistic systems, transport subsystems, technology of transport and warehousing, modelling, optimisation and rationalisation of processes and systems of warehousing, as well as to do research in the field of development of the systems of in-house transport and warehousing processes and technologies.

The graduates may use their qualifications by finding employment in:

  • logistic operator companies in departments of warehousing process management,
  • logistic solution suppliers (IT systems, design),
  • large industrial and distribution plants in departments of analysis and organisation of logistic processes,
  • forwarding companies,
  • study and design offices,
  • research centres.
