Second-cycle degree programme

Students of the Vehicle Diagnostics specialisation in the second-cycle study develop their knowledge in the field of: vehicle technology, consumables, measurement methods in the automotive industry, methods and tools of car diagnostics, technical facilities of automotive service plants and equipment of motor vehicle inspection stations, legal bases of functioning of the stations, identification and evaluation of the technical condition of vehicles, technology of vehicle repair, valuation of repairs and vehicles.

Graduates of the specialisation have the competences to manage human resources and use technical means in car transport enterprises, in particular motor vehicle inspection stations; to do standard diagnostic tests in the stations; to design technological processes of technical service and repair; to design automotive technical service plants; to do tests and provide expert opinions in the field of motor vehicle technical condition evaluation; to value repairs and vehicles.

The graduates may use their qualifications by finding employment in:

  • car transport enterprises and large industrial plants,
  • automotive technical service plants (technical service stations, garages, diagnostic stations and motor vehicle inspection stations),
  • construction and design offices and production plants of diagnostic and service tools for the automotive industry,
  • research centres.

The qualifications acquired can be used in road transport.
