Second-cycle degree programmes

Students of the Vehicle Valuation specialisation in the second-cycle study develop their knowledge in the field of: vehicle technologies, vehicle dynamics, road traffic, consumables, methods and tools of motor vehicle diagnostics, motor vehicle valuation, reconstruction of road accidents, identification and evaluation of the technical condition of vehicles, technology of motor vehicle repair, valuation of repair and vehicles.

Graduates of the specialisation have the skills to study the motion of a single vehicle experimentally and in simulations, to describe and study road traffic to the extent needed for the job of an appraiser and expert witness, to conduct diagnostic tests of vehicles, to do tests and provide expert opinions in the field of technical condition evaluation of vehicles and their parts, to reconstruct typical road accidents, to value repairs and vehicles.

The graduates may use their qualifications by finding employment in:

  • companies which provide expert opinions on vehicle technical condition, repairs or valuations,
  • institutions which deal with road accidents and road traffic research,
  • institutions and organisations which deal with valuation and diagnostic tests,
  • study and design offices and production plants of diagnostic and repair tools for fleet vehicles,
  • research centres.
